    Frequently Asked Questions

1Why is DRS Web offering free websites to community organisations?
Honestly? With experience of being involved in community projects, as well as our own neurodiverse experiences, we're building our portfolio with projects we actually care about. Supporting neurodiverse communities and sensory-friendly services in the North West is work we want to be known for.
2Is this really free or is there a catch?
It's genuinely free. No hidden fees, no surprise invoices. We build your site at no cost. You'll just need to cover your own domain name (about £12/year) and hosting (from £50/year), which you'd pay for any website anyway. Think of us as your digital partners, not vendors.
3Do other web agencies in the North West have free website options?
There may well be! The more the merrier! Most web agencies charge £££ for what we're offering. We've already built free websites for others, and we're expanding our search & publicising this info because we believe there's more need for it.
4Would we own the free website you make?
Yes, absolutely. The website is yours — we just want to see it, and of course yourselves, succeed!
5What if we need changes later?
Understandable question! There are always changes to make. We provide training & give you access to the site to manage content, so you can update the majority of things yourself. For larger changes, we would be happy to discuss and come up with a plan that works for you.
6How can we afford a professional website for our neurodiverse support service?
That's exactly why we're doing this. Community organisations supporting neurodiversity shouldn't have to choose between professional web presence and funding their actual services. We're offering free website development to qualifying organisations across the North West.
    7Who covers hosting costs?
We provide the initial website free. You'll need to cover domain (£10-15/year) and basic hosting (from £50/year) or we can discuss options.
